BJ Craig - UNLV Head Coach

BJ Craig was named the new Head Coach of the men's soccer program at UNLV in January, 2022. Craig brings a wealth of experience to Las Vegas with 14 NCAA tournament appearances including winning the 2013 NCAA National Championship and a combined 6 championships from the Pac-12, ACC, Big East, and Ivy League. Under his leadership, Craig's former players have developed into some of the best in the country who have played at the highest levels for club and country across the globe. Most recently, he coached a MAC Hermann Trophy winner, three All-Americans, 3 MLS draft picks, one Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and 20 All-Pac 12 selections at Oregon State, as well as 24 MLS draft picks, 10 All-Americans and 40 all-conference honorees at Notre Dame. Throughout his 20-plus years of coaching, Craig has received various accolades. His recognition includes the 2021 United Soccer Coaches Far West Regional Staff of the Year, the United Soccer Coaches Glenn "Mooch" Myernick National Assistant Coach of the Year in 2014, South Region Assistant Coach of the Year in 2013 and NEC Coach of the Year in 2004 at Saint Francis. As the Head Coach at Saint Francis, Craig led the program to the Conference Championship Final and three winning seasons including two 10-win seasons for the first time in program history.

Dave Casper - UNLV Assistant Coach

Former Kentucky Assistant and Former Head Coach at East Tennessee State University, David Casper, joins the Rebel Soccer Staff for the 2022 season with over 14 years of experience at the highest collegiate levels. Casper set a program mark for best record in the first two years as ETSU head coach and coached 14 So-Con All-Conference players over his three seasons. At the University of Kentucky, Casper was a key factor in elevating Kentucky into a consistent NCAA tournament program and as one of the top defensive units in the nation. Kentucky finished inside the top-20 in the nation in goals against average in four of Casper's five years on the UK coaching staff coaching the goalkeepers. Casper came to Kentucky after three successful seasons as the top assistant coach and goalkeeping coach for Saint Francis University (Loretto, Pennsylvania). During his time at St. Francis, Casper helped guide the club to back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in school history.

Micah Craig - UNLV Assistant Coach

Micah joined the UNLV Men's soccer staff in 2022 as an Assistant Coach and Performance Coach. Micah came to UNLV after graduating from Oregon State where he helped the Beavers to a first  ever Pac-12 Championship in 2021, two NCAA tournaments and the #1 seed and Final 8 finish in the 2021 NCAA Championship. Micah started his collegiate career at Gordon College where he started 19 games, playing in 23 before a season ending injury while helping  lead the team to the 2018 CCC Conference Championship and NCAA Championship berth. Micah is currently earning his masters degree in Kinesiology at UNLV and is a certified strength coach.
